Nurseries need to register and ensure all their evidence is uploaded before the closing date. Late entries or evidence submissions will not be accepted. Parents must also ensure that they have voted before the closing date or their vote will not be counted.
Our judging process takes into account the ratio of votes to numbers of children, the submission itself and quality of comments to create a fair system for all types and sizes of nursery.
Our dedicated team of specialist Early Years Advisers spend time reading every entry, taking into account parent votes, comments and evidence submitted. They also take into account, Ofsted inspection ratings and other background information that could set your nursery apart.
Once our Early Years Advisers have selected the finalists for each award, those nurseries will be contacted by email. We also send you a digital banner to display on your marketing material and emails.
Any nurseries that have been unsuccessful will be contacted the following day by email.
All finalists are published on the NDNA website here.
If you are a finalist for a voting award, our judges will visit or contact your nursery to gather more evidence and report their findings to our judging panel.
All nurseries that have been selected as finalists for evidence based awards will have their submissions collated into a report ready for the judging panel.
The awards judging panel takes place on or around 30 April 2020. The panel is made up of leaders and experts from across the early years sector. Details of the members of the judging panel will be released here nearer the time.
When a decision has been reached, the winners names remain confidential to the judging panel until the day of the awards ceremony
On Friday 5 June, our prestigious 2020 Awards ceremony will take place at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire where our award winners will be presented on-stage. Keep an eye on the Awards page here for more details.
All winning and runner-up nurseries will be emailed a digital banner to display on marketing materials and emails to showcase their achievement.
